Choose Your Seneca Lake Wine Tour

Seneca Lake has a few different ways to spend the day with us. Pick the tour that fits your group best — classic weekend trolley energy, a calmer Sunday wine day, deeper weekday wine experiences, or a Friday evening craft beverage outing.

Seneca Lake Trolley Tour

Fun, social, classic

Best for first-time visitors, couples, and groups who want the classic Lakeside experience.

  • Ride the vintage trolley
  • Visit a mix of wineries, breweries, and distilleries
  • Fun, social energy without the hassle of driving

Sunday Seneca

Calmer, relaxed, easy

Best for couples, smaller groups, and guests staying through Sunday night who want a relaxed Seneca Lake wine day.

  • Same general Seneca Lake trolley experience
  • A calmer feel than the busiest weekend energy
  • Great fit for guests not rushing into a long Sunday drive

Behind-the-Scenes

Deeper weekday wine experiences

Best for guests who want the wineries to feel less like stops and more like real experiences.

  • Four hand-picked Seneca Lake stops
  • More time at each location
  • Guided tastings, pairings, production moments, or special access depending on the day

Craft Beverage Tours

Friday evening breweries, spirits, and tap-house energy

Best for guests who prefer beer, cocktails, spirits, and a Friday evening outing over a traditional wine day.

  • Brewery- and distillery-focused route
  • Great Friday evening group outing
  • Social and fun without the party-bus feel

How Your Day Works

  1. Check in at the ticket booth – Arrive 10 minutes before departure at the Lakeside Trolley Ticket Booth in Watkins Glen. If you are planning your winery day from town, our Watkins Glen wine tour transportation guide explains what to expect before you book.

  2. Ride with your group around Seneca Lake – You’ll stay with the same vehicle and group all day while we handle the driving, timing, and route.

  3. Taste, relax, and explore – Taste, eat, shop, and explore at each stop. Most standard tour stops are around an hour. Behind-the-Scenes Tours include longer stops so there is more time for guided tastings, pairings, production moments, or other special experiences depending on the day.

  4. Return to Watkins Glen – After the final stop, we bring you back to the ticket booth so you can head to dinner, your lodging, or the rest of your evening.
